tropical fish in a tank that has previously had salt water fish in it?
Can i put tropical fish in an aquarium tank that has previously had salt water fish in it? If it is possible, how should i clean the salt out of it? Anything will be helpful! thanks.

If it is glass, then I would put boiling water in it, even though a dab of salt wont hurt your fish, you don’t want to risk it! Or, you can use soap and scrub, but make sure to wash it all out—even a little bit of soap could be dealthy to your fish!!! :D
If u put boiling water in the glass it will crack, u should get a scrubber and scrub all the salt with little bit of soap
i seriously wouldn’t risk soap like above said you really just cant risk it. Even the tinest amount left will kill your fish.
I would just rinse with hot (not boiling water) a bunch of times.. scrub with a damp cloth. You would be better of to clean with vingar and rinse repeatedly to get it all out, then with soap.
Fish can handle 1 tablespoon of Aquarium salt per 5 gallons so if there is a bit left over that you cant’ see it should be fine.
Tear down the tank, scrub it with hot water, rinse well and start over as if it’s brand new.
