Thanks. one more thing dont forget the best size of tank and amount of crabs. also im thinking fiddler or red claw crabs. THANKS

Hot butter and a shell cracker.
You won’t need a tall tank, but rather a wide one to give them room to crawl around and to be able to create a dry and aquatic side. A 20 Gallon Long should be perfect. You should be able to put 4-6 crabs in it.
Fine gravel or sand. Push to one side to create a slope so that they can crawl out of the water.
A clamp light with a daylight bulb which should be available in the reptile section.
A screen cover because crabs are exceptional escape artist and will usually try to make their way out via the filter or electrical cord.
A filter that will work in low water conditions. Something like an in-tank filter like the Tetra Reptofilter. It uses the same cartridges as the Tetra Whispers.

Natural driftwood to supplement their diet and a little decor.
Sinking food like algae waters, crab food and frozen bloodworms.
Water decholorinator.
Most importantly, marine salt to mix brackish water. “Freshwater” crabs will actually require brackish water and usually don’t last long in simply fresh water. Make sure it’s marine salt that you use, plain aquarium or table salt will lack the essential minerals.
Don’t worry about any of the pH adjusters.
That should do it… good luck!
